We are Juan, Ana and our children, Juan Pablo and Santiago.

We began with Dobermans when we moved. Before that we lived in an apartment in Montevideo City, and then we could have our house, near the beach, where we had the sufficient space for the dog that we wished.

We all agreed that it will be a pedigree dog, but harmonize on what breed it wasn't very easy...
Juan was impressed by dobermann and all the time was speaking to us about his structure and beauty...he convinced us.

So, "Helga" a black dobermann of Kennel "Rincón de Giloca" came to live with us and formed part of our family.

Certainly in that time, none of us, had not idea on structure, standard or anything of it, but as we knew Helga we loved  her and this noble breed, so we started to read breed books, magazines, anything to learn. We were visiting dog shows and Juan Pablo was practising "stopping" her.
Helga never went to any show, we always postponed it.

Later, there was a moment that we wanted to breed, to have our puppies and then, following our veterinarian advice, we served her with Luthor de Quilligan, grandson of Nello's Lex Luthor. (dog that we felt a great admiration).

There came our firstly litter waited with many expectations and the nights without sleeping began...
Helga did not have sufficient milk for her 10 puppies so there was necessary to give them complement from the beginning. A lot of my time was spent caring for the pups .. from the minute they are born and we was quite proud because they all were healthy.
Juan Pablo and Santiago were with puppies all day long if they can...so it was difficult to separate of them.
Sometimes, the owners come from visit with them and it makes us very happy.

We also wanted a Helga's daughter, so Zara stayed at home. We did not choose her thinking about the standard. She decided to stay with us, this is the truth. She was the only one of the puppies that going out of anywhere...jumping, doing a well, doing anything to come with us. We compared her and it was better sisters than Zara, but ...Zara stayed.

After a  few months, unfortunately Helga developed cancer and died.  We felt very, very sad. Santiago (7 years old) could not stopping crying, he did not have consolation. Helga was not infinitely tolerant to his kid's prank but she was his partner as one more brother. Zara had to work to take this place with Santiago and she obtained it.

We went with Zara to shows by Uruguayan Kennel Club; we did not postpone it. She was Uruguayan Young Champion by Miguel García, her handler and in one of the last shows Better Dobermann Bitch, making us enjoy very much on having seen her in shows.

We start thinking with Zara's litter .... and we think it very much and rejected many suggestions. The "Lex Luthor Kennel" from Argentina, was in our mind although it looked like a dream. We found and talked  with Norberto Díaz, the owner of "Lex Luthor Kennel", who after studying  Zara's photos and pedigree offers us his better two males. We decided to do the service with " De Lex Luthor Apolo " thinking that being a imbreeding  Nellos' Lex Luthor sun, he transmits more than Lex.

We have to highlight this, because without knowing ourselves he helped us. Thank you!!!!

We are dedicated to breed excellent dobermann but, with responsibility,  where our dobers have the best quality of possible life, in a natural environment, exercising naturally, forming part of our family, loving then so much ...
